I like The Verge. They do some cool things like the On The Verge show, and I listen to the podcasts. Their reviews, however, I feel are extremely tough and don't reflect experiences the average consumer will have.

I've talked to Josh for Techblitz and the "bias" that people claim he has doesn't appear to be there. Yes, the 900 review was harsh, but he was viewing it in the light of "super phone" not "cheap, fjord looking consumer phone." I love their podcast, as NO ONE has the chemistry that those guys have. Trust me, they have some amazing reviews. That one just missed the mark, and if you listened to the podcast today they had a whole session just to talk about the review (about 2 hours or so)

People just want to see their favorite products succeed, and Josh is the one who has the power to help that product succeed. I think people just wanted their expectations to be matched by Josh's review.

I've stopped reading lots of reviews because I feel upset I can't have the phones in my hands right now. My Inspire is really showing its age...

Having the Inspire and reading tech blogs is like going to a candy store while you're hungry: s**t will go down.

Reddit has become increasingly useful to my technology reading, as well as Techmeme to get all the big stories going on.

Anyone here still read Gizmo do? I don't, because it's basically become the tech version of The Enquirer. Too much outrageousness, unnecessary swearing and flame baiting headlines

The Verge is great, and pocketnow gets all the leaks. Sometimes I wish Pocketnow could spell check some more, though!

Yeah exactly Oh I also forgot XDA, which sometimes has cool articles, mostly on Android software though.

I don't go there often, mostly because all of them are way smarter at Android rooting and ROMs than I will ever be : )

I like some of the previously mentioned sites, as well as VentureBeat.com. My podcast source for tech stuff it the twit.tv network, specifically Tech News Today with Tom Merrit.

I don't know, a lot of the twit.tv podcasts strike me as boring. I listened to Windows Weekly a couple of times but it never really hooked me!

Gizmodo and Engadget seem to be where I end up the most, but I'm not really married to any particular tech site. I generally hear most important stories from my husband and my close friends, anyway. :P I travel in pretty tech-heavy circles.

So instead of online social interactions, you get your news stories from real social interactions! How revolutionary! :P

Yeah he seems like a cool guy. I like how he does the challenges with different phones for like 30 days and gives a report how it compares to other phones and OS's. Right now I've been keeping up with his 30 day challenge with the lumia 900, you should check it out.
