Microsoft Surface Software Update

Did a software update check as soon as I opened my Surface and there were four updates available. Here is what they are:

• Windows Defender: Definition Update for Windows Defender KB2267602 (Definition 1.139.6830) 2.6MB
• Windows RT: Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows RT (KB2758994) 5.4MB
• Windows RT: Update for Microsoft Camera Codec Pack for Windows RT (KB2712101) 4MB
• Update for Windows RT (KB2756872) 5.2MB

There was also an Office 2013 update that was interestingly unchecked, perhaps because I have a weak connection and the download is 586MB, with the update being:
Update for Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 RT Preview (KB2748583)

If you've tried that last one let me know... in the meantime I'll try the 4 primary upgrades that total 17.1MB.

The Flash player update is good, I know some people had issues with Flash.

The Office update was optional and in Metro only important updates are installed. I just installed it - it's the final release. Works great.

Yeah I'm a little surprised to see an office suite loaded. Nice!
