A couple of basic tips for the surface

I know these are no brainers, but they took me longer to realize than they should have so I thought I'd post in case anyone else could learn something from them.

Have you used a tablet before?? LOL

Win8 touch really takes advantage of two finger touch to pinch and zoom. But, I wish it had better double-tap and a magnifying glass for zooming when selecting text, similar to ios/android.

Here's a really cool feature i found.. If you open metro IE and click links to go to other pages, you can then swipe left/right to go back forward instead of next/back buttons.

Yah I should have mentioned that, oops. Also there's a beta 'forward' feature you can turn on too. For example, here, it would take you to the next newest thread.

Of course I've used a tablet! This is our third, also have iOS and Android.. and we all use Android phones. Like I said - no brainers. :P

great video, phases! anyone figure out how to change the direction of the scrolling on the trackpad? I don't like moving my fingers up to move the page down.

Yeah, using it to type this. Although I've noticed touching for cursor placement can be hit or miss.
