Hey guys,
So I've had the Surface RT for a few months now and I've noticed a couple little bugs. For some reason I can not get toast notifications for the Email app to show up. Another issue that sometimes happens is I will get no warning that the battery is low. There is supposed to be a 10% and 7% warning, but sometimes it never happens. All of a sudden it just shuts down. Super annoying.
Anyone else notice these bugs?
Uh, what's a toast notification? Are you referring to the lock screen notification?
Now that you mention it, I don't recall getting any lock screen notifications anymore either. Wonder if that has to do w/ the recent email app update.
I actually get the low batter warnings now - I never did until one of the recent updates.
The last two months of updates (March & April) seem to fix some bugs, but create new ones. Don't forget Gmail is no longer accessible in the mail app.
See if your print screen function still works. Mine goes through all the motions except pasting it into a screenshots folder in the picture library. Quite frustrating.
A toast notification is those notifications that pop up in the upper right corner of the screen. In Windows 8 I get them for Mail, but not in RT.
Gmail is still working for me...
