Is the Lumia 1020 worth $300?

Some people seem to think that $300 for the Lumia 1020 is expensive. I disagree. I feel like if you buy the 1020 you are getting a smartphone and a digital camera. What do you think? Is $300 a fair price?

This is why I'm so interested in the 1020. I figure that if I would buy a new phone and a digital camera it would cost around $400 minimum. By buying the 1020 I can save money, and only carry one device.

People who are serious about their photos will love it at this price. I have a flipping thousand dollar camera. I don't take it everywhere because it's just too big. Which, I'm sorta sad about. But we sure as heck use our phones and tons of those photos make the albums and printouts we send to family. Sure wish the pictures turned out better...

I knew I could never justify a $300 purchase to my girlfriend, but once I saw it for $200 on Amazon, that was perfect. And since she paid $200 for her 920, it's not like I'm outspending her.
