The app support on Android is lacking, and I've yet to find a killer notes app. Plus, you'll find more keyboards and keyboard docks with an iPad. I just wouldn't recommend it at this time, and I can't see it improving in the near future
Google Docs and Transformer Prime. Now, if Win8 tablet manufacturers manages to make some budget-friendly options...Office and a keyboard+case would do just fine.

Alright, But Google Docs on the tablet is lacking in document creation, I'd recommend Kingsoft office. Either way, it probably won't be a good experience for you, but everyone should at least try it

I have Office Suite and it works pretty well as a good interface for Google Docs. Not perfect, but good enough to take some notes.
