What DON'T you like about the 900? And/or what needs improving? Nobody is perfect.

I havent seen a Lumia 900 in person yet, but from what I can tell from the pics, it looks like it doesn't have the curved glass that the 800 does. I happen to think the curved glass is cooler looking & they shoulda kept it on the 900. Definitely a minor quibble, but still a bad decision imo.

I've also heard reviewers say the buttons dont respond well/have to really give em a hard push to take a pic, and that theyre hard to find without looking. Any of that true?

OH! Thought of another. Personally, I HATE the neon cyan. Of course variety is good, but if they're only going to offer 2 colors at first, they didnt go with a more popular color that more people would want (like a dark red or something) first? Straaaange business decision.

But I swear, I LOOOOOVE the phone more than any other phone by anyone. BEST looking, best designed, coolest phone, with the coolest, most intuitive OS of all.

BLASPHEMY! I think cyan is probably going to cell more from both genders (it's a more ambiguous color) than just a magenta phone that would sell mainly with women. That's what I assume they were doing, at least. They could have sold magenta alongside the cyan and black, though!

OH, I dont think they should sell magenta either! Magenta is a very pinkish/puplish red. I meant plain old dark red. like this!

But sorry to blaspheme your phone.

Nokia isn't going for the dark colors on the Lumia line (besides the black phones). The leaked Nokia phones seem to have the crazy phones you're looking for, though! Sorry for your disappointment!

I guess the resolution on the 900 is lower than the 800. Increasing resolution is ALWAYS a good thing.

They're at the top resolution that Microsoft allows, but the screen size was increased from the 800. Essentially, they increased the screen size but the resolution stayed the same, making it a worse screen to read on... Apollo will fix this, thankfully, and we'll see some 720p displays.

Any word when Apollo phones are supposed to hit the market?

Another pet peeve, if you're gonna design a black phone...make the accessories black too. If it's cyan, make the accessories cyan. Apple made this mistake too, their black iphones shipped with white headphones. Lumia black and cyan both ship with white mini USB cord and white charger. Yes, it saves a bit of money to make all the accessories the same color, but in that case, make them the color of the most popular phone.

But I repeat, I still LOVE the phone more than any other on the market & reaaaally hope to win. *fingers crossed*. But details are important.

They tried to subsidize the phone's cost so they could sell it for $99, losing as little money as possible. I would say that's a small detail and you mentioned it saves money, so there's your answer on why you have a wide swath of colors with your future Lumia! :P

I've never actually used the device, but I think the power button is in a weird spot.

I think their reasoning was to keep the top and bottoms of the device clutter free so it can stand without having a raised edge on the top. I wouldn't want the power button on the side, either, but I guess it makes sense

Personally, I like having the power buttons on the side just as much as on the top. It's easier to access and more natural for how I hold a phone.

Hmm, interesting. I've never really had to use side buttons until the phone I currently sport, and the side buttons take some getting used to

    - No LED notifications

    - Screen lip

    - No LED notifications

    - Too heavy and too big compared to HTC HD2, which has identical size screen

Did I mention no LED notifications?

I've never had the pleasure of LED notifications. Is it a case of "Once you LED, you never go back?"

I currently have LED notifications, and find them extremely annoying when I notice them (I never check my voicemail) and not annoying enough when I need to notice them.

I'm personally fine without the LED blinking at me.
