I currently have LED notifications, and find them extremely annoying when I notice them (I never check my voicemail) and not annoying enough when I need to notice them.

I'm personally fine without the LED blinking at me.

Windows Phone has the thing where you can just look at the lock screen as well, so I thin the LED would be only as useful as the lock screen

Another excellent feature the commercials should be showing off, but don't.

Nokia is trying to win attention via laughs and cheap shots, but they could do one commanding thing (catchy song, weird photo of a dog) and then transition into the beauty of the OS and the hardware. Like the videos posted on the other page, but built specifically for the Lumia.

They're trying to brand the phone as the "new cool" phone by hiring a "cool" SNL spokesman saying funny things. Lifestyle branding and I highly doubt it works for phones. You make people think a phone is cool, by showing WHY its cool.

EXACTLY. The 900 is a cool phone, let it get the focus, even if I love Chris "Leo Spaceman" Parnell.
