I don't get why anyone uses the white theme. It's such a battery hog.

I liked the video, but it didn't show off that much cool stuff.

The video didn't seem to be so much about the phone as it was about the girl. Which I guess is one of the benefits of the WP7 OS. It is made to be easy to get in and get out to interact with people and do whatever else you are doing with your day, rather than just being in your phone.

Yeah, WAY too much about the girl -- told me absolutely nothing about the phone. Didn't make me want the phone. In fact, it bored me and left me feeling there was nothing special or exciting about the phone at all. Big fat #FAIL.

I think they were trying to appeal to the young 'uns and show how it could fit in their non-stop social life, but in fact the Lumia's cyan coloring could easily get the young people* to buy the phone.

Ok, you're young. Tell me, are you more interested in the Saturday Night Live spokesman, or the phone?

Yeah, I think they're really trying to target the average user and leave all the power-user tech stuff up to Android. I enjoyed the commercial...good cinematography. I don't think it's enough to convert an iPhone or Android user, but it shows off the simplicity and elegance of the OS/device quite well.
