Google Docs and Transformer Prime. Now, if Win8 tablet manufacturers manages to make some budget-friendly options...Office and a keyboard+case would do just fine.

No specs. Just raw performance is enough!

Retina. I'm holding out for Windows Phone 8 in order to get that massive ppi eye candy, and I'd love to see the same on my some day future tablet. The screen should be about 10" I reckon

Holding out is probably a good idea, Nokia is virtually guaranteed to make a great Apollo phone. 10 inches sounds about right as well

Does anyone here know if Windows 8 tablets will have aspect ratios of 4:3 or 16:9? 16:9 is a little too long, and the Android tablets suffer for it

Judging by This: Design case study: iPad to Windows 8 Metro style app
I'd guess 16:9. Using it in portrait would be a bit of a hassle.. and the W8 start screen doesn't really look configured for portrait. The app in that article looks amazing compared to its iPad counterpart though Lets hope they're all that gorgeous

Portrait mode with a 16:9 aspect ratio is awful. I sincerely hope 4:3 is an option for devs, because I wouldn't buy a Windows 8 tablet with 16:9. I agree with you, though, that's a good looking app!
