Are laggy 3rd Party apps Normal on a focus?

I have the original focus and some apps are a pain to use D: For example the official facebook app. Swiping between panels sucks. Its not just me is it? Are these issues addressed in the 2nd gen devices?

I've often wondered about this. YouTube videos on my Focus are pretty choppy, even low quality ones on WiFi tend to freeze and create a lag between the audio and video sync. I can pause it and let if buffer the entire video and it'll still skip.

Nope, I haven't had any issues really.

Sometimes it will lag in showing the date and time at the lock screen, but not too often. Make sure you don't have too many background apps running.

When I have issues it's because the app isn't fully loaded yet.

Do you maybe have a large number of processes running, or a lot of customization to the phone? I can only speak for my Captivate (Android phone), but sometimes it needs a reboot and I imagine it's because of the sheer amount of customization I've put it through. I really like my custom apps, what can I say?
