Yeah, a lot of phones are missing at the moment! I want to hear from Dell Venue Pro owners, because I haven't really heard much about that phone since the leak a year or two ago.

A list like in XDA forums would be great, "minimized" view does not really tell you what was posted (if anything).

It's very much a work in progress. As for the Dell Venue Pro, they recently stopped selling the phone. That doesn't mean we won't have a forum up for it, but for now it looks like it's DOA according to Dell.

They're incredibly inexpensive, <$200 off contract, so I've been thinking of picking one up to replace my Focus until WP8 later this year.

I'm surprised at the amount of cheap Dell Venue Pros on ebay, but I'm wary of getting a used phone ever sense my Palm Treo Pro debacle of '11.

I bit, picked one up for $151, it should be here next week. I'm kind of excited, it was easily the best looking 1st gen handset, and I've read there's an easy way to swap the microsd card, I have a 32gb in my Focus so I'll just swap it over.

Thats a great price for the Dell Venue Pro, I've never seen one over here in Ireland though.

My LG Optimus 7 has dropped in price recently, you can get them as cheap as €163 on amazon.de at the moment.
Memory is 16GB and is more than enough for me.

FYI, WPs encrypt the data on the SD card and it is RIDICULOUSLY hard to wipe/reformat for use after you use in your phone. I do recall seeing a really strange workaround on XDA a while ago, but I don't know the process. I just know you won't be able to simply pop it in your computer and reformat it. Good luck!

I believe the method you're referring to was using a specific Symbian phone. But it's going from a WP7 device to a WP7 device, I read a guy on XDA swapped from DVP to Focus without any issues. Should be fine the other way.
