    Best Metro (Desktop) Apps

I know this isn't a forum for desktop apps, but I think this subsection of the forum fits this question better than any other section. If you guys have seen good looking Metro desktop apps, please post below! I'd like to start a list of good looking Windows Apps. I'll start.
    GOOD LOOKING METRO APPS

I have a feeling this list will grow after the release of Windows 8. I've used MetroTwit previously when it was in the beta stage, but haven't tried it recently.

I agree, most of the time I resort to the browser (stupid promoted ads in my timeline!) but now that they've added multiple account support I may forget the browser all together!

Hopefully your right, I wish the desktop had more good looking apps with a unified design theme. Especially on Windows, no two apps look alike!

Also, I think every Windows Vista/XP user should use Tiles, a Metro taskbar replacement. It appears on the side, and it shows full previews of apps! It also allows for pinning of files and allows for a whole list of recent files!

I was just going to ask what Tiles was, and then you went and linked a blog post about it! You read my mind.
EDIT: Ooh, not a fan of Stardock, though, but if it's a free program, you don't have to give them money!

You should try it out! I would use it full time if I could permanently hide the start bar, but having both Tiles and the taskbar appearing at the same time can be a little messy. You could always try it out for free! I haven't heard anything too bad about Stardock, could I ask why you dislike them?

New addition: MetroStudio, provides Royalty free Metro icons for your desktop! The app is Metro itself and is useful if you like to customize your desktop!

I just have the ads set to show up in my DM column which I have pushed off screen.

That's exactly what I do because 1) I hate promoted ads on Twitter and 2) I never receive DMs that aren't spam, but it's always nice to get mail! haha
