Woah, I downloaded the update but didn't bother to open it. I really didn't expect such an impressive update. The best part is that you can download a few select languages and use them to translate offline.
What does this update add? I heard something about improved augmented reality translations, or am I just high and drunk?

This is one of the coolest features on Windows Phone I think. Seems like it could really save your bacon in certain situations.

A whole lot. It used to be 2 text boxes with a translate button. Now its metrofied and has picture translate, voice translate, text translate, a live tile with word of the day, and offline dictionaries for multiple languages. Its simply awesomeOriginally Posted by techblitz

MUST HAVE!!! There was an augmented reality app on the iPhone that was super complicated and confusing, and a pay-app, which I was temped with. But this is a killer app, developed well, with a lot of thought (solely based on the video). This is in my list of apps to get when I get a WP.

Yah. All that and FREE, kills the Google translator app for the iphone out of the water. Bing Translator is must have for me.
