    Lumia 900 reviews

A bunch of sites have posted their Lumia 900 reviews already (ours is coming soon), so what have you thought about the reviews so far? Yesterday I wrote this about the reviews because I though some of them were unfair. Do you agree?

I did think The Verge review was a tad harsh, but only because the mindset Topolsky went into reviewing the device was "superphone" and not "super cheap, 4G, good looking device." Like I said in the comments:
"Even though I may disagree with some tenets of the review, it doesn’t stop you, the consumer, from buying the phone. In fact, if you’ve got $99 to buy a new phone with a contract, this is probably one of the best deals you can get. Look at the 900: for this price, this is an amazing deal. No matter what the review says, this hardware and this price will probably sell extremely well. Sadly, most of the general public is uninformed of The Verge, so this review won’t have any impact. Calm down, Team Windows Phone, you still have a possible success story in the midst!" Just my two cents, hopefully I'll be able to review it for my blog, Techblitz, if I can get my hands on one!

I think they are a bit harsh, but I also think it reflects the feelings of most of the public. Who really WANTS to have a budget phone over a super phone? I know people who can barely afford their apartments that went in over their heads just to get the better phone they wanted. Thus, their reviews are made in that light, for WP as well as all others.

Except the 900 doesn't look or feel like a budget phone, but it's priced as one. If all the reviewers saw it as that, people wouldn't be getting so angry over some review

A lot of them are complaining about the raised screen, I find it really strange they have it curved on the 800 but not on the 900... Wouldn't be a very nokia thing to do if it was cutting costs

They had to subsidize heavily to get that $99 pricetag, so if it was a price issue I wouldn't be surprised
