    Windows Phone Annoyances

We're compiling a list of annoyances and things that WP needs. Any suggestions?

There are third party browsers, if I remember correctly. The ringtone situation is a mess, though.

After some encounters with friend's Windows phone's, I'd say they need their WebOS cards to be more, well, WebOS like. Swipe to dismiss, hopefully. And maybe a notification hub?

I've come across two third party browsers, didn't like either of them. UC Browser and Cube browser or something like that.

I am annoyed that 7.0 had "Find in this page" and a Forward button that were both removed in 7.5. Then they hid the tabs button in the drag up menu.

Separate volume control is certainly annoying.

No additional storage (mostly). The only two devices I've owned, the Focus and now the Dell Venue Pro have microsd slots, but in general WP7 users are stuck at whatever capacity they purchase the device with.

I don't have any real annoyances. I suppose the most annoying thing is being unable to browse the marketplace or my music collection while connected to USB, but I understand why it is that way.

If you are talking about notifications, you can slide those away. One of those hidden-too-well features.

I mean like WebOS cards that are dismissed when swiped away

Agreed on the removed features they weren't hampering usability, and taking them out because "no one used them" is ridiculous,. I use the find feature almost every day in any given browser

All use IE core though and some are sluggish as hell.

    I want Opera Mobile!

Well, I don't think they can port over other browsers yet. With Windows 8's dual Metro browser scheme, you might see some Firefox and Opera apps for Windows Phone 8!

WP does not support native code, WP8 will finally fix it.

I know, that's what I said in my previous comment! I think it will be easier when the WinRT architecture is common in both Windows 8 and Windows Phone , allowing the devs to actually port over apps

Out of all those, 1 and 3 would be important to me, with my beloved puke green tiles pushed aside
