    Microsoft promised Tango on April...

And failed to deliver and/or update us with the current situation.

I feel let down and yes, aware about June update (they are rumors anyway).

Does Tango really provide anything but MMS updates? I mean, all it does is lower the minimum specs, so I doubt it's going to play a big part on the day to day stuff

Export contacts to SIM and MMS notification is crucial

Your contacts are backed up to your Live account, and I'm pretty sure you can use your email, contacts and calendar from your Live account on iPhone, Android and Blackberry. So as long as you're going to smartphone to smartphone, export contacts to SIM doesn't seem terribly important.

That particular feature about contacts might be very useful when access is kinda limited...MMS - Not sure how useful it might be...

Apparently, Tango is being pushed out to the Mozart now. I'd assume it'll start to trickle out to other devices soon. The problem here has always been the carriers and manufacturers, they have to put their own final touches on it which slows the process down significantly. Microsoft has probably had Tango in RTM for a couple of months, it's the other guys that failed to deliver.

Ah, you beat me to it, but other users don't get update notification yet (Mozart), I assume it's beta testers only

I'm sure all the OEMs have tested for Tango already, I believe the ROM has been done for over a month now. We are just waiting on the carriers again.
