    Sprint Windows Phones

My family and I recently switched over from Sprint to T-Mobile for the sake of a cheaper mobile plan. However, my time on Sprint was marred by the fact that Sprint was slow to accept Windows Phone. Their only phone, the HTC Arrive, was alright but nothing special. Even VP of "Product Realization" openly stated that they aren't interested in Windows Phone.
"We have a Windows device in our lineup, but honestly, it hasn't done well enough for us to jump back into the fire. We told Microsoft: You guys have to go build the enthusiasm for the product."
Now, with Sprint coming up with the LG Miracle and rumors flying that they are preparing for Windows Phone 8, is it a good time to be a Sprint Windows Phone fan?

Obviously the best choice is AT&T, but we're really hoping Sprint and Verizon pick up the pace. The Lumia 900 is awesome, but is it awesome enough to get people to switch to AT&T for it like the OG iPhone? I'm not sure.

I think Sprint is realizing that it has to offer the customer what they want, rather than clam up like Verizon. Verizon has been very adamant about not stocking any more Windows Phones.

Now that you're on T-Mobile though, you have access to the Lumia 710 and I'm pretty sure an unlocked Lumia 900 would function on T-Mo's network.

I am hoping to get an Lumia 900 and unlocking it for use with T-Mobile!

I don't think it will make people switch carriers, but the 900, if advertised correctly, could definitely get AT&T customers to renew contracts. There's just no limit on how good a Cyan 900 can look!

The diffence in the price of my current Sprint plan to an ATT plan could buy me a 2yr contract Lumia900 every other month. So for me, no, its not enough to switch. Coming from Verizon or TMobile it may be though. But I kinda doubt it.

The one thing that's holding my family and I back from getting a data plan is the price. 6 phones, all on data plans, is a little too much to pay for!

The carrier situation sounds horrible over there D: Here you can import any 3G phone and it'll likely work on all 3 of our major carriers. If I did live in the US, I'd definitely be an AT&T guy, for obvious reasons

Carrier branding and lockdown is awful here in the US. We are moving on to LTE and, even though three of the major four networks will have LTE as their main network foundation, we still won't have interoperability among phones. It's ridiculous, really
