    Kinect + Windows Phone 8

What kind of games integration do you guys expect from this killer combination?

Is this all we will see?

Although that is a cool idea, it seems like a niche feature. I'd like to see Microsoft iterate on the Xbox/Windows Phone co-op game play first!

i think it would be neat if you could use the phone kind of like a controller. i mean, i know the whole point o fkinect is not to have to use a controller, but for rpg games and stuff it could be really neat.

In that video, it uses the phone as a "controller" to change how the game is influenced, not as a controller to play the game.

I wish they would focus more on co-op between games from the counsel to the phone. There is so much potential there to not only give us some cool features, but to attract new users.

I think it could come with Apollo, as the dual core processors and higher resolution screens could maybe allow for more overlap in game development properties (character models) . We'll see

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 episode 2 will be the first to have this sort of integration. Not really multiplayer but, they share the same save file over xbox live. Its a start

Oh, I thought this would be the first game to have Xbox and Windows Phone co-op gameplay! Damn, Microsoft really needs to get started on that!

Could be some Wii U style functionality in the xbox 720 maybe? It'd be cool However if windows phone 8 isn't popular by then they would likely make some sort of add on for the console for this. Or they could do both.

I think it would be good to have more integration options on windows phone and xbox, not necessarily limited to kinect

At first when I read the title I thought "what's the point in integrating Kinect with WP?" but on reflection I think there is one possible way of benefitting. The Kinect naturally picks up your skeleton well, but the advantage of the WP device is that it has sensors, e.g. accelerometer. To me the video posted doesn't technically integrate the two. The two devices are acting largely independently.

One possible case would be if you could think of a benefit of having Kinect + a camera looking back the other way. Afterall, a Kinect can't normally see backwards.
