XBOX Live Gamse on Windows Phone?

I have XBOX 360 and have been an XBOX Live subscriber for many years. Can I currently (or will I ever be able to) get the XBOX Live Games I've purchased on my Windows Phone?

If it's possible, I can't figure out how. And if it isn't, why not? This seems like a huge advantage Microsoft has that they are just letting go down the drain.

i think i read somewhere that microsoft wants to do something like this. it was on the main winsource page th eother day that the new episode of sonic will be cross playable between xbox live and windows phones, kinda like what the playstatino has with the psp and now the vita. i hope microsoft turns wp7 into a mobile console. that'd be neat.

It will be interesting when something like this is implemented. Right now Sony leads the pack with its RemotePlay for playing between PS3 and PSP devices, but if it added the same features to the Xperia Play, Microsoft might find stiff competition for its Windows Phone devices.

They've been talking about it. Right now they do have some games that when you play it on your phone it affects your 360 game (Fable Coin Golf gets you more gold in Fable 3). You do have to buy both games for it to work though. I hope that won't be the case with games that are more similar (ie: you have to buy the game on your xbox, and buy it again on your phone).

I play Full House poker both on XBOX and my Windows Phone. Only wish I could do multiplayer on my phone.

I think there are a lot of arcade titles that would translate well to platform. DeathSpank would be cool on the phone...or at least a Titan.

I tried Full House poker when it first came out and I really couldn't get into it. Still, there's a lot of other games from XBLA that I would like to see ported.

It's become a "Waiting" game for me. Dr's office, etc. Easy to stop and start. And make me feel better about my real life poker game.

Can I ask you why not? I never played Full House Poker before, why couldn't you get into it?

It didn't really appeal to me, but I'm not really much of a poker player. There are other games I would like to see ported to Windows Phone, such as Toy Soldiers. Such a great tower defense game all wrapped up into a very neat setting.

I love the Fable Coin game! I like that it gets me money in my Fable game. I wish we had more crossovers or extras like that.

For those of you interested, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II will bet the first synchronous title released for Xbox 360 and Windows Phone. That means you can start playing the game on your way home on the train or bus and then when you get home, pause and pick up on your Xbox 360 right where you left off. Pretty nifty, I think. More games should have this feature in order for Microsoft to sell its 360 integration better.

xbox 360 games and windows phone xbox live games are different. Some share some parts, and some even allow you to play some aspects on phone and then on the console, but are rare exceptions.
