    Music software for Windows phones.

Are they as good as Itunes?

This is the easiest software I have used when it comes to editing song information and transferring music. I have a lot of songs and I like to have them clearly organized under their artist names/albums and such.

And this is the only reason I am considering an Iphone.

I am not talking about the music app on the phone! I am talking about the PC suite software that phone manufacturers provide for transferring songs from computer to phone.

My question is how are the pc media software that the Windows phone manufacturers provide with for editing song info? (HTC, Samsung, Nokia etc)

If you could make a comparison to Itunes, which one do you prefer?

If I could organize all the songs as well as I can on Itunes, then I will consider a Windows phone.

I currently have a Nokia N8 and the Nokia music software is not very good for organizing songs.

I don't really put much music on my phone, but I think the Windows Phone desktop app is what you want. It works for transferring music, but I'm not sure about editing song info. Maybe someone else here has better info

Here is an answer from a reader on WinSource:

I have answer for the guy that needs mp3 editing software. I tried to register on the forums but its taking to long and I'll probably forget to reply later. On Windows a great free program to use for editing is MP3Tag. Mp3tag - the universal Tag Editor (ID3v2, MP4, OGG, FLAC, ...). I've been using it for years.

Odd that he had a hard time registering, took me like 2 minutes.

I'd be more inclined to do this kind of editing right on the phone, if it's possible. I hate having to connect a phone to a PC.
