MACRO Mode on Windows Phone Camera

I can't wait until mobile phone cameras improve to the level that typical digital cameras have improved. I'm already seeing a bunch of improvements, my favorite being the "MACRO" mode on Windows Phone 7. Sure, the bulk of it probably has to do with the sensor on the particular hardware, but I'm guessing some of it has to do with the software as well.

Have you used Macro mode at all on your Windows Phone Camera? If so, what are your thoughts? If not, hop on it!

The only phone in memory that really reaches digital camera territory is the iPhone 4S. How do photos appear in Windows Phone's Macro mode? I've never used it

I was not especially impressed by the 4S's camera. I've seen reviews that placed it about even with the Galaxy S2's, and there are a few better phone cameras out there. And what about the Nokia Pureview?

No reviews yet, but the megapixel count doesn't really guarantee camera awesomeness. Hopefully, Nokia's camera pedigree will ensure that the camera is as good as they say it is!

The Titan II had a macro mode, and it worked pretty well actually. It still didn't beat my digital camera, but it was better than my Trophy.
