Since then he's evolved from flip phones to smartphones, and become even more interested in everything from cord cutting to web browsers. Joe is also an avid sports fan and sci-fi movie geek. He's a Joe of all trades.

Just a week after launch TalkBox, the mobile messaging service, already has a nice update. That update should be coming later this week with some much needed improvements, none of which they told us.

The other interesting news from TalkBox is Windows 8. WPCentral was lucky enough to get their hands on some screenshots of a TalkBox Windows 8 Metro app. From what we can see in the images it looks like a full featured app. The Metro design of the app goes right along with the Windows Phone app and the Windows 8 design. It’s nice to see a company working so hard on bringing apps to both platforms that will soon converge into one.
