Despite the Windows 8 Release Preview scheduled to be released sometime in the first week of June, a leaked Chinese version has been making its rounds in forums and BitTorrent websites for those who want it early. The updated build contains many new Windows 8 metro style apps, including those for News, Travel, and Sports. Other improvements include an updated boot screen, cursors, and wallpapers, with improvements for multiple monitors.
Of course Aero is still present in this release candidate build, but Microsoft will shortly take the axe to it for a more Metro UI that actually looks quite decent. Currently only the Chinese version has been leaked ahead of time, but a press conference scheduled for June 6th will likely be the official release of the RC.
