“…I’m a WP7!” getting a new look and name

Joe Fedewa is 23 years old and lives near Lansing, Michigan. He's been interested in technology ever since he got his first flip phone. Since then he's evolved from flip phones to smartphones, and become even more interested in everything from cord cutting to web browsers. Joe is also an avid sports fan and sci-fi movie geek. A very popular app for die hard Windows Phone fans is …I’m a WP7. The app is developed by the same people who made the Gleek! Twitter client. I’m a WP7 is a social network for people with Windows Phone devices. It’s a place to socialize, share tips, tricks, and find Windows Phone fans near you.

Since Windows Phone 8 will be out later this year the app is in need of a new name. That name is “Outsider for Windows Phone.” It’s a direct shot at being totally unrecognized by Microsoft, and being the opposite of “Insider.” The app is also recieving a nice little UI refresh. The update will be ready in about a week.
