The official Twitter app for Windows Phone has come a long way since launch. One thing that ikt has been missing is notifications, and today that finally changes. Version 1.5 adds a notification section to the settings. There is actually a really nice variety of settings involved.
Below are the options for notifications:
- Mentions - Off, From people you follow, From anyone
- Favorited - Off, From people you follow, From anyone
- retweets - Off, From people you follow, From anyone
- Direct messages
- New followers
The live tile now flips to reveal mentions, but we’d still like to see a more. It’s taken two years to get this functionality. Better late than never, right?
