Two Asus Windows 8 Tablets Get FCC Approval

Asus has been a big partner for Microsoft for the Windows 8 launch, as it was the first OEM partner that announced its plans on having a Windows RT tablet. What we have here are two devices passed through FCC approval that will likely run Windows 8 and Windows RT, making these tablets that much more of a reality as the October launch date looms closer.

The two tablets in the filing are TF600T and TF810C. The first is likely the Tablet 600 device that Asus showed off at Computex. The second is the larger 810C, sitting at 11.6″ and will likely feature Windows 8 Pro. We’ve seen the tablets before, but with FCC certification that means they’re much closer to getting into our hands, still with no pricing details available.
