Size comparison chart for Windows Phone 8 handsets

If you’re curious about the size of the upcoming Windows Phone 8 handsets that will most likely be out before the end of the year, check out this nifty chart created by the folks over at WP7.nl. It shows accurate size depictions for all the major phones from Samsung, Nokia and HTC. If size is a big factor for you when it comes to choosing a handset, this should help.

So far we’ve seen our readers focus mainly on the HTC 8X and the Lumia 920. Is anyone considering the ATIV S? It looks to be much smaller then Nokia’s offerings, even if Samsung has had a bit of a plastic problem lately. Let us know!

I like the AtivS design, but I’m also partial to Samsung’s android lineup… so perhaps I’m a bit influenced by that. The HTC design looks like too much of a ripoff of Nokia; I would have loved to see them do a more One series design for their windows lineup.

I’m a huge fan of big screens. I use a Galaxy S3, but it was a really difficult choice to make between it and the Galaxy Note because I love the size of the Note. I really do hope Samsung makes a WP8 Phablet because that’s what I’m waiting for. If they don’t, might have to settle for the Ativ S.

I am leaning to the AtivS as well. However some of the features of the Nokia and how they can offer a bit more of their own apps has me interested. Not enough to go to AT&T.

I’ve liked my Samsung Focus (Original), so I’m leaning toward the Ativ. But I am tempted by the wireless charging. I think once I see the screens in person, I’ll better know.

Because I carry my phone in my pocket, less weight is important to me, and mostly I use my phone for data. Therefore the ATIVs is a good choice for me.
I also suspect the Nokia 920 will be $$$.
While Nokia are heavier they’re supposed to be tougher so may not need a cover/case.

Yellow Lumia 920, no doubt :-)

I would give anything for Samsung to do a Note with Windows 8. That would be like the ideal phone. Or maybe I can talk Nokia into doing one that size.

I will take a Black Nokia for me! The Ativs and 8x won’t have Nokia’s apps.

If they do a Note, they need to load Windows RT on there!!

  • scb1898

I am leaning towards a Nokia model due to the apps. I’m not opposed to the Ativ S.

Love how the 8S looks. I’d still get the 920 over the 8S anytime.

Definitely a shiny bright yellow Nokia Lumia 920. The technological advancements they have made with the screen are incredible. Then add all the other unique features such as the camera, wireless charging, etc. and it’s a no-brainer.
