Invites for a Windows Phone 8 event have been hitting press inboxes today, with the event happening on October 29th in San Francisco. The event will likely be the official unveiling of Windows Phone 8, instead of the bits and pieces we’ve gotten until now. Both HTC and Nokia will likely have their newly announced phones ready for the event, so we expect to see their presence at the event in some form.
