One of the most frustrating aspects of the upcoming release of the new Windows Phone 8 handsets is that no pricing details have been released. We have no idea how much these phones are going to cost and we’re less than a month away from their launch. One curtain may have been lifted in the form of Great Britain’s pricing for the HTC 8X, however.
According to GSMArena’s anonymous source at Three UK, the device will be available on a wide variety of contracts, including the Essential Internet and Three’s unlimited data One Plan option. Upfront costs for the 8X with a two year deal start at £29. Wow. The release date has not been officially named, but Amazon UK has the phone as being available on November 8th.
For those of you in the UK who do pay as you go pricing, the 8X will cost £350 and then whatever the cost of your chosen plan. Seems pretty reasonable to my American eyes. What do you think?
