A lucky Redditor was in attendance at Samsung’s Note II event, and he spotted an ATIV S. Like any self respecting gadget lover would he took a boat load of photos and posted them online. We get a a great look at some Windows Phone 8 features that we haven’t seen before, and a better look at some we’ve heard little about.
The first interesting thing that I found is “Live Wallpaper.” This is something we haven’t heard before, and we’re not sure exactly what it means. The photo shows a settings page for selecting a “picture,” so we’re not sure if this means a truly live wallpaper like you would find on Android. The page is also separate from the usual wallpaper settings.
Some other cool stuff: enable broadcast messages for disasters, settings for safely removing SD card, the “Children’s Corner” settings page, advanced settings for SkyDrive auto-upload, offline maps, and much more. Check out the full album below.
