No, this is not an Onion headline. Earlier today a broken snow globe caused a building on Microsoft’s campus to be evacuated. The snow globe was being delivered in a package, and since it had been broken in transit the liquid was oozing out. Once a liquid was spotted oozing from a package the building was immediately evacuated for security reasons. All was well once they found out the liquid was just from a snow globe.
It might seem a little silly that all this was caused by a little snow globe, but in these situations it is better to be safe than sorry. Plus, this gives us a chance to share an always valuable lesson: wrap snow globes in bubble wrap.
