With Windows Phone 8 we finally have a powerful OS to run big name games. At least that has been the promise from Microsoft. Gameloft wants to make that promise a reality, and they are doing it by bringing 12 games to WP8. The 12 games are already available for other platforms, but it’s still exciting for Windows Phone users. The 12 games are listed below.

- N.O.V.A. 3: Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance
- Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour
- Shark Dash
- Asphalt 7: Heat
- The Dark Knight Rises
- UNOTM & Friends
- Order & Chaos Online
- The Amazing Spider-Man
- Fashion Icon
- Poker for Prizes
- Real Soccer 2013
All 12 of these games will be Xbox Live titles. Modern Combats 4 is easily the headliner of the bunch, but games like The Dark Knight and Asphalt 7 fill out the list nicely. There is no word on price or availability for these games yet.
