Until now, one of the main selling points for the new line of Nokia Lumia devices has been the wireless charging support. The Lumia 820 even features interchangeable colors that support wireless charging so no matter the color of your phone you still have the feature available to you. It looks like HTC is going to rain on Nokia’s parade, as The Verge is reporting that the Verizon version of the HTC 8X will have a wireless charging solution built into the phone just like the Lumia 920. This extra wireless charging will not make the Verizon version of the phone any thicker.
For those that are considering the HTC 8X as their next Windows Phone 8 device, this feature may tip you more toward Verizon than your current carrier.
