This week’s Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week is Sid Meier’s Pirates. The game has been around since 2004 in various forms and it finally made its way to Windows Phone last year. If you’ve played the PC or console games before, then there’s nothing really new here for you, but the thrill of the game is pirating, not the story. The above video commentary is in German, but the actual game is in English so you get some idea of how the game plays.
The game’s combat is well suited to touch controls, so for $2.99 Sid Meier’s Pirates is a welcome diversion. You can snag it here if you want to give it a try.
