No specific details relating to sales for Windows Phone 8 and more specifically, the Lumia 920 have been released yet, but it’s always fun to speculate based on rumor. According to Yahoo China, Lumia 920 pre-orders and purchased handsets have exceeded 2.5 million. To put that in perspective, this is only slightly less than the number of handsets Nokia sold last quarter. This massive demand for Nokia’s new handset means that Windows Phone 8 is alive and well, but we’re waiting to see those ComScore numbers for this month and December to see total adoption rates.
