LG hasn’t been completely on board with Windows Phone since the start. They started with phones like the Quantum and Optimus 7, but have since abandoned the platform. A new story out of the Korea Times says that LG is back and ready to release a new Windows Phone 8 device.
LG’s latests Android devices, the Nexus 4 and Optimus G, have received high praise from most people in the industry. The Optimus G especially has been heralded for it’s great display and performance. we would certainly love to see Windows Phone 8 software running on such a device. The quote from the Korean Times states:
“We will release quite a number of new Optimus devices this year and LG also has some new smartphones in the works, that will run Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8.’’
