Verizon’s third Windows Phone 8 device, the Samsung ATIV Odyssey, is on sale starting today. The device is available for $50 after a $50 mail-in rebate on a new two-year contract. Verizon is the only U.S. carrier that has been able to get a Samsung Windows Phone 8 device. The specs are purely mid-range (4″ display, 5MP camera, 1.5Ghz processor), but it handles very well.
Now the question is will anyone buy one? For $50 more you can get a HTC 8X, or for $50 less you can get a Nokia Lumia 822. That puts the Odyssey between two very nice devices. Is anyone planning on picking one of these up? Let us know!
