Microsoft is starting a new multi-million dollar campaign for Outlook.com, and the first couple commercials have come out. One would wonder how you can possibly make a commercial about email look interesting, but Microsoft has managed to do it. The first commercial is about getting updates from social sites in Outlook, photo galleries, the sweep feature, and more. The second ad shows off the sweep feature in more depth. Both have an upbeat tune that makes the ad a little more fun.
The big question is will these ads be enough to sway someone to switch to Outlook.com? It’s the year 2013, so getting new email users is out of the question. Everyone has email nowadays, so it’s a matter of converting users. Do you use Outlook.com? If not, what do you use?
