Finally we have some solid release dates for the Nokia Lumia 521 on T-Mobile. The device went on sale at Walmart and HSN over the weekend, but quickly sold out. Today T-Mobile has announced some more information on the launch, and even a planned OTA update.
On May 22nd the Lumia 521 will officially go on sale at T-Mobile retail stores and T-Mobile’s website. It will be available for $29.99 down with 24 equal monthly payments for well-qualified customers with the new Simple Choice Plan. Lumia 521′s sold through T-Mobile will come with WiFi calling out of the box, and devices sold through Walmart or HSN will receive an update on May 20th to enable to feature as well.
The Lumia 521 will also be going on sale at Microsoft Stores and Walmart this Saturday (May 11) for $149 and $129 respectively. The 521 has a 4-inch display, HD Voice, 5MP camera with 720p video recording, and of course all the exclusive Nokia apps. Is anyone on T-Mobile going to pick up this phone?
