News of Instagraph and Metrogram’s plan for integration popped up way back in early April. Finally today the merger is complete. Last week Instagraph was updated to add their half of the functionality, and now today Metrogram has been updated to add theirs. The two apps now work together to bring you a full featured Instagram experience.
The Metrogram update adds a bevy of new features, but the most important is a new button (seen above) that can be found in the menu. The new “Post” button will take you to Instagraph (assuming you have it installed). Once there you can go through the process to upload a photo to Instagram, and then return to Metrogram when you’re done.
Metrogram is where you will want to view your feed, like, comment, and browse other photos. Also new in version 4 is the ability to edit or delete your account, regram a photo, pin users to Start, pin tags to Start, reply to comments, double tap to like, and much more.
