Earlier this week Itsdagram was contacted by Microsoft and asked to change the name, font, and design of their app. We’re not going to speculate too much on the reasoning behind that request, but feel free to let your imagination go wild. After weighing a few different options the devs have finally released the newly re-branded app.
From this point on Itsdagram will be known as Instance. A nice name if we do say so ourselves, but we would like to see “for Instagram” tacked on the end for easy Store discovery. To go along with the new name the app has been redesigned to look less like the official Instagram app on other platforms. The result is a beautifully original Instagram experience.
Other new features in this update include pull to refresh, faster load times, the ability to find friends with Facebook, and some registration bug fixes. The update has rolled out to both the paid and free versions of Instance. Say it again with us…Instance. Get used to saying that, because this is by far the best Instagram app.
