Earlier this week we wrote about the Lumia 1520 going up for sale on Microsoft’s website. The page listed the phone for $199 on contract, $549 off contract, and shipping on November 15th. That information may not be entirely true. Microsoft has come out to say that the page was published prematurely, and they have since taken it down.
The Lumia 1520 will indeed be available from AT&T soon, but just not yet. We have reason to believe that the prices were correct, but the release date was a little early. Recent rumblings have pointed to November 22nd as the launch day for a number of Nokia devices (along with the Xbox One). We’ll keep an eye out for more information, but right now November 22nd looks to be the big day.
P.S. If you did pre-order the device from the website before it was removed Microsoft says they will honor your order.
