One of the most used and classic Windows programs, the file explorer, has so far been missing from Windows Phone. That could change in the Windows Phone 8.1 update. This is according to Twitter user @Nazwil8, which has been relatively accurate.
Nazwil says the File Manager will be coming in Q2 2014 along with the big Windows Phone 8.1 update. The File Manager will allow Windows Phone users to access files, photos, and videos in a single place. A File Manager won’t be something the average consumer cares about, but for power users it will be a nice addition. Will you use it?
So far everything we’ve been hearing about Windows Phone 8.1 has been really great. It’s looking like this will be the big update we’ve all been waiting for. 2014 can’t get here soon enough!
