Smoked by Windows Phone has been a success here in the United States, despite a few hiccups when the campaign went national. Now Australians from Sydney and Melbourne will be able to take part in the challenge this weekend. The event is being held by Nokia Australia and aims to bring more attention to Windows Phone in an already strong market. Windows Phone has hit nearly 5% market share within these regions.
The event in Melbourne will be taking place at Federation Square between 9am and 19m and then on to St. Kilda betwen 2pm and 5pm on Saturday July 21st. Those in Sydney can hit up the Nokia setup at Bondi Markets from 10am to 2pm and then Bondi Junction from 1pm to 5pm.
