Check out MetroTube’s new Windows Phone 8 features

Our favorite YouTube app around here is definitely MetroTube, so seeing it get the love and attention it deserves for Windows Phone 8 is very satisfying. The app now supports all sizes of live tiles and will now support pre-loading, which means you can watch the videos later if you happen to be offline. This new updated version of MetroTube should be on the marketplace very soon, which is good news for early adopters who will likely be able to get their shiny new WP8 devices next week.

    One thing I absolutely love about Windows Phone is the metro look. I’m a big fan of minimalist theming, and it’s definitely welcome in such things as YouTube apps. Minimalism is key when you just want to watch a video.
