T-Mobile was gracious enough to throw their new Nokia Lumia 810 device our way for review, but before that goes up I wanted to get a few shots up of this gorgeous phone. My first impression when taking it out of the box is how soft the phone feels in your hand. It’s almost like touching velvet. The Lumia 810 will be offered with a set of colored faceplates that go around the phone and enable wireless charging, but unless they feel exactly like the bare bones phone I can’t say I’d want to use one, wireless charging or not. It really feels that great.
The weight of the phone is slightly more than my old Samsung Captivate and less than the Lumia 900 I’m sporting now. It feels solid without feeling cheap, which is something most handset manufacturers seem to struggle with these days. Overall, the phone has a great visual style and will definitely catch eyes when you pull it out of your pocket.
