A new iPhone was announced yesterday, and the rest of the mobile industry was relegated to sideline trash talk. Our very own favorite Windows Phone manufacturer was in on the fun too, which several jabs at the new iPhone 5c and 5s. Let’s take a look at some of Nokia’s best Tweets during the Apple event.
After Apple showed off the new iPhone 5c in Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, and White, Nokia sent out this Tweet. Nokia is not new to using colors in their phone design, so it’s funny to see Apple do this and make such a big deal about it. Also, Nokia would never make cases this ugly.
Apple always makes a big deal about the iPhone camera, and rightly so. It is a very nice smartphone camera, and it’s better than most smartphones. Except for the ones that say “Nokia” on back. No one, not even Apple, can touch the Lumia 1020/Lumia 925/etc in camera quality. Nice try.
To finish things off Nokia sent out the tweet above. They have colors, they have a great camera, and it’s only a penny on Amazon…right now! Why wait to buy one of the new iPhones? We really enjoyed Nokia’s playful jabs at Apple yesterday. It’s always fun to pick on the competition a little bit, and we only expect the same in return. What did you think?
