HTC Radar 4G Hotspot Not Working

A friend recently purchased the T-Mobile Radar 4G made by HTC. It starts with a free trial of the 4G hotspot feature and they really liked it but the trial ran out. I purchased it, and my Windows 7 Computer identifies the network, but for some reason there is limited connectivity and they call it an "unidentified network".

What gives? T-Mobile reps couldn't help me...

Here is what I would do:

1. Try rebooting your computer
2. Try connecting with a different computer
3. Try turning off your computer's anti-virus

You've probably tried changing stuff on your PHONE but there is a good chance that the issue lies in your computer's specific settings. I would also try restarting your router and refreshing your IP address. You can do that by going to start, run "CMD" enter, and then in the popup type "ipconfig /release", hit enter, "ipconfig /renew".

Rebooting didn't work but trying another computer did. I turned off anti-virus and reset modem/router and cleared my IP and it works! Now I've got to add back my firewall and stuff and hope that doesn't re-break it. But thanks!
