I know a lot of Android users love the Galaxy Note, but I'm not sold. Do you actually want a device that is so big it barely fits in your pocket?

HELL no.
I have a 5" DROID DNA and that is as big as I can handle a phone for real. These days I don't need quite as much in my phone either.
Either way, I would like to give a HTC win phone a shot.... Grand scheme of things I will like any phone made my HTC![]()
Well, I have to differ. I have a Note 2 and it is incredible. At first, I wanted it really badly. Then I got it and thought, damn this is big. But about 1.7 seconds later I followed that with "..and that is awesome!".
It fits in my pocket fine. It fits in my shirt pocket fine even .In fact, it feels much better in the pockets and looks less ridiculous laying around than smaller phones with huge extended batteries (like my wifes Rezound) that are needed to get them to last a day. And this one lasts me two (first smartphone to do that).
So while the screen size is bigger - it not only feels smaller or on par with other phones that can last a while - but heck, having the large screen is incredible.
Web browsing, games, netflix. Reading emails. Screenshotting web pages and editing with the stylus, it is all incredible for me.
Now, some of these even bigger things I'm seeing lately are a little crazy, but I have no problem with the N2 size at all, in fact anything else at this point feels too small.
I was slightly tempted to wait for the 1520, but I already passed on the 920 because I was waiting for the 928 (was still sticking to my Verizon guns at that time) and then I passed on the 928 to wait for the 1020. At some point I needed to just do it.
I've had the Droid DNA, too, and I feel like that's just about the perfect size. But back in my Imagio and Droid Incredible days, I never felt like they were too small.
Regardless of what I want, I think the platform needs a phablet so it can compete in every segment.
As an Android User? Yes! I'm digging this and the 2520! Purchasing Both (when I can afford to) My family members are Android users, I Convinced them to leave Apple behind. After checking out the Note3 my Brother has. The 1520 isn't going to be a problem for me!
